Welcome to Helen Keller Group.
Our Teachers of the Deaf (ToDs) are Mrs Cashman and Mrs Gawthorpe. We also have support from Mrs Robinson who is our Deaf Instructor, and Specialist Support Workers Mrs Adams, Miss Mistry and Mr Mohammad also help us with our learning. We learn English and Maths with our teachers and Mrs Robinson also teaches us BSL and Deaf Studies each week.

It is really important that we remember to bring our book bags and water bottles to school every day. We must also remember our P.E kits as we join our mainstream peers for PE or Dance very week.
Parents, in Helen Keller group, our homework is given out on a Friday and needs to be handed in by Tuesday. We would also like you to read and talk about books with us and help us practice our spellings regularly. We want our parents to talk about the world around us when we are out and about to help our understanding of the world around us and we also want you to join Mrs Robinson's BSL classes for parents, so that you can learn how to communicate better with us at home.
