Beethoven was born in Bonn, Germany; Beethoven showed remarkable talent at an early age. At the age of 17, he performed for Mozart, who was very impressed.
In the year 1817, Beethoven became deaf. He could no longer perform in public, but still composed music. Beethoven’s third symphony and Ode to Joy were his most famous work, although all of his work is still listened to today. Beethoven composed music for the violin and piano and for cello and piano, music for wind instruments; other piano works and over 200 songs.
