World Book Day Fun! 5.3.26
We had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day. Everyone came to school in their pyjamas or character costumes, and the room was full of excitement as we shared stories and talked about our favourite costumes, books and competitions.
In November 2025, our UKS2 RP children joined their Year 5 mainstream peers for a SCARF workshop. SCARF is a PSHE programme that supports children in developing key life skills, including emotional well-being, healthy lifestyles, relationships and staying safe. Throughout the session, the RP pupils interacted confidently with their peers and were fully engaged in the discussions, role-play and practical activities. It was wonderful to see them contributing ideas, working collaboratively and showing real interest in the themes explored. The workshop helped create an inclusive environment where all pupils could build confidence, resilience and a sense of responsibility.
Paul Whittaker Class - Bradford City Stadium Visit - 14th October 2025
Today, our Year 5 RP pupils joined their Year 5 mainstream peers for an exciting visit to Bradford City Stadium, organised by the Bradford City Community Foundation.
The tour lasted about an hour and included key areas such as the fire memorial, the changing rooms, the dugouts, and the boxes and suites.
During our visit, the children learned about the tragic fire in 1985 and reflected on how it affected the local community. It was an engaging and memorable learning experience for all.
Well done to RM!
He was nominated for the Headteacher's half term award (Spring 1). RM was chosen to have afternoon tea with his mainstream peers and with Mrs Pugh. RM has come to school on a daily basis and just loves learning! He enjoyed some sweet treats and hot chocolate with the other children and was very pleased with himself.
