All About Mozart

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on 27th January 1756 in Salzburg in Austria. By the time he was four years old he could play the Clavier, which is a keyboard, and when he was five years old he was composing little pieces of music. He played these to his father who wrote them down.

Mozart also enjoyed playing billiard and he liked dancing. He kept pets – he had a canary, a starling, a dog and a horse for riding.

Mozart died on 5th December 1791.
